HMS was founded in 2014 to provide high-quality loan servicing to niche residential mortgage portfolios containing complex underlying loans. Initially this was Shared Equity Mortgage (SEM) portfolios which had been purchased by third-party investors on the secondary market.
In 2016, with second charge mortgages coming under the remit of the FCA, HMS took on work with clients (most notably blue-chip UK housebuilders) affected by the new regulations.
Since then we have significantly diversified – with a focus towards loan servicing for clients with new specialist residential loans as well as commercial real estate lenders.
